GPCR Drug Discovery - Synopsis

Despite significant historical success with GPCR targets, there remains enormous opportunity for further exploitation of the family for drug discovery. The session will cover wide-ranging advances in the field, including novel screening methods that are unearthing the rich texture of receptor signalling, the discovery of molecules with improved properties and subtle mechanism of action profiles, progress with less tractable targets/receptor deorphanisation, developments in the field of structural biology and application of computational design methods for improved lead generation/optimization
