Abstract:
Compound Management at an Emerging Biotechnology Company
Michelle Heathcote and Adrian Kinkaid
Lectus Therapeutics Ltd.
As an emerging drug discovery and development company with significant growth potential, Lectus Therapeutics requires a flexible and expandable system for compound management.
This system needs to enable the realization of the full potential of its small molecule compound collection and provide a clear route for accommodating expansion of compound numbers, whilst maintaining a cost-effective investment in infrastructure. Although the same guiding principles apply to the design of the compound management system, the priorities vary from more conventional solutions utilized by large biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. This presentation outlines the design, selection and implementation of such a system.
