Students, graduates and post-docs are welcome to compete for the SLAS Young Scientist Award at the ELRIG Drug Discovery 2014 Annual Conference and Exhibition, 2nd & 3rd September 2014.
The winner will be invited to present and participate in the Student Poster Competition at the 4th Annual SLAS Conference and Exhibition, February 7-11, 2015 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, USA. SLAS Young Scientist Award winners receive a $500 cash prize, roundtrip coach airfare, shared hotel accommodations and conference registration for SLAS2015.
The SLAS Young Scientist Award program is a global initiative in partnership with the following organizations:
- European Laboratory Robotics Interest Group, United Kingdom
- Institute of Food Technologists, United States
Eligibility: Applicants should ideally be a student or within the first five years of their professional scientific research career.
Judging: Will be by a panel of eminent scientists appointed by SLAS and ELRIG. Judging will take place during the whole event, although judges may well ( anonymously ) come by and chat with you during the official Poster Session from 4-5pm on Tuesday 3rd September. So do your best to be there.
Presentation of the award: Will take place at the conference closing ceremony, and be announced in the ELRIG and SLAS news media.
HOW TO ENTER :
Posters must have already been submitted, accepted, and on the list for ELRIG DD’14
- Come to the ELRIG registration Desk and tell us your poster number
- Do this before 5pm on Tuesday 3rd September ( i.e. before the poster session starts ) please.
The list of entries will then be highlighted to the judging panel.
