ELRIG’s Pharmaceutical Flow Cytometry & Imaging 2016 meeting was held on 22nd and 23rd November at GlaxoSmithKline’s Stevenage site. The event covered 4 topics over 2 days and included plenary keynote presentations from Professor Robert Hawkins of CRUK & Cellular Therapeutics and Professor Paul Smith from Cardiff University.

During the course of the meeting, delegates were asked to vote for their favourite technology and poster. This year’s technology prize winners were Abcam (pictured above with conference director Melanie Leveridge, GSK) for their Firefly® multiplex miRNA/cytokine assays. The poster prize was awarded to Dr Stephanie Ling of AstraZeneca for her poster “Multiple Endpoint Genotoxicity Screen: early mechanistic understanding of compounds with potential genotoxicity.”
