What is included?
A Breakthrough Zone booth is a 1x1m space which will include the following:
- Table – 800mm x 800mm, sited against the back panel
- Space to display an A0 portrait poster (please note there is no space available for pull-up banners)
- ELRIG will supply the correct solution to fix your poster to the board
- A0 Landscape posters will not fit and therefore cannot be displayed
- Electrical socket
- Carpet
- Name board
- A blinded registration list will be sent on September 17th 2024
- One Exhibitor pass
- Access to the Lead Capture function within the ELRIG App
- Complimentary refreshments and lunch
- Networking session with complimentary drinks on October 2nd 17:00-19:00

How to apply
Please submit a video, no longer than 3 minutes, in landscape format describing the following:
- Scale of the challenge you are seeking to meet
- Why is your solution innovative?
- What would the impact of your innovation be on the challenge
- Next steps and capacity of the business to execute
The video should be filmed landscape and ideally feature a plain backdrop which includes your company logo (if not this can be added later)

Judges mark against the criteria scoring each category out of ten marks.
Total scores out of 50 for each video.
Videos more than the allotted duration will be rejected

Shipments Direct To Site
If you are sending direct, please note that ExCel London cannot store goods before and after the event, Deliveries must not arrive earlier than 8:00 October 1st, 2024, and collections must be made by 20:00 on October 3rd, 2024
Advanced Shipments & International Exhibitors – Non-UK Exhibitors
If you need to ship goods outside of tenancy times, then shipments can be sent to Cameron Event Logistics warehouse from 20th October onwards. (Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00. Cameron Event Logistics will arrange delivery to the venue and place directly onto your stand at event build up.
These services can be booked via the Cameron Event Logistics (cameronlogistics.co.uk)
International Exhibitors – Non-UK Exhibitors
If your material requires customs clearance, DO NOT send directly to the venue as delays will incur due to your material being seized or held by Customs authorities. Cameron Event Logistics Ltd can arrange customs clearance under their registered EORI number.

Storage During The Event
Exhibitors can store empty crates, boxes, etc. during the show between the shell scheme wall and exterior the wall. Please ask an ELRIG helper to show you where these areas are if you need to use them.
Anything obstructing aisles or Fire Exits may be removed by the venue / H&S staff.
Large Items must be booked in with Cameron Event Logistics (cameronlogistics.co.uk) to be taken off site.
Signatures For Goods Received
Please arrange with Cameron Logistics for shipments to be signed for upon receipt. If you do not then one of the ELRIG team (including onsite courier porter, H&S, ELRIG Ops team, ELRIG volunteers) will sign but cannot accept any responsibility for incorrect, missing, or damaged items
Boxes left for collection
- Clearly label all boxes with your company name & stand number
- Attach all shipping documentation and ensure they are complete and accessible
- Report all Boxes left for collection to the Logistics Team onsite and leave at indicated collection points.

Collections
Any goods not collected by 21:00 will be recovered by Cameron Logistics. They will be a charge for this service. Goods can then be collected from their site or Cameron Logistics can arrange for them to be returned.

EVENT OVERVIEW
Europe’s largest conference for the drug discovery community returns to London, with scientific tracks covering not only therapeutic themes such as mechanisms of ageing and cell & gene therapy, but also more practical aspects of drug discovery encompassing advances in assay design, applications in high content imaging, target identification and disease modelling. This year’s Scientific Content Partners are the Cell & Gene Therapy Catapult, the Royal Society of Chemistry, SBi2 and SLAS, all of whom are providing science tracks prepared by their community members. And in the middle of all this science there is the exhibition hall, which is a great opportunity to meet over two hundred drug discovery suppliers and to learn about all the latest products and services you can use in your research.
Whether you’re involved in early drug discovery research or translating your promising therapy to the clinic, you’ll be sure to discover something that can help you at this year’s event.

We will be welcoming local students to ExCeL who will have the opportunity to explore the world of science with hands-on experiments, captivating demos, using cutting edge equipment and take part in an engaging Q&A session with our Early Career Professional team. We believe that inspiring young minds is key to building a brighter, more innovative future. together we are nurturing the scientists of tomorrow.
This inspiring space will be focussing on two key themes – Sustainability in Drug Discovery on Day 1 and and Robotics, Automation and AI: Driving Innovations and Key Applications in Drug Discovery on Day 2! Hosted by industry experts you can be sure these sessions will ignite your passion and get you thinking!
We recognise the vital role that young companies play in driving innovation, so to support and amplify their contributions we’re delighted to introduce the ELRIG Breakthrough Zone. If you might be interested in featuring in this space please fill out our application form and tell us about your innovation in 300 words by 31 August. POSTER SUBMISSION AT ELRIG EVENTS
Exhibitors must follow the procedure below. A poster at the event is not guaranteed
To submit a poster application for Drug Discovery 2024, you must first register for the event. Registration is possible via the Exhibitor Portal link. A link to the poster portal will be available in your registration confirmation email.
PLEASE NOTE: We have limited capacity for posters on site and they will be accepted on a first come first served basis, When capacity is reached a holding list will be opened and you will be notified if spaces become available.
Poster Deadlines:
To be considered for an oral flash poster presentation in the Exhibition space please have your title & abstract submitted by 2nd September. The deadline for all posters for general display abstract & title 15th September.
Poster Acceptance:
The author will be held responsible for false statements, the scientific judging panel will ensure the poster is relevant to the event content. Successful poster applications will be notified via email and the poster display number will be given approximately two weeks before the event.
During the event:
A board will be available with your poster number and Velcro strips to affix your poster (your poster must be A0 portrait).
Poster sessions will take place for 30-minute in the networking session at the end of Day 1 and for 30 mins during the lunchbreak on Day 2. You will be expended to be at your poster during these times to answer questions from delegates.
A Poster Prize will be awarded for Best Early Career Professional Poster, the posters will be judged (you will not need to be at your poster during judging) and the prize awarded during the opening session on day 2 of the event. (Thurs 3 Oct)
During registration you will be asked if you identify as an ECP – An Early Career Professional (ECP) can be a student in higher education undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (including PhD), or within 5 years of finishing higher education and starting their career in life sciences and drug discovery. These ECPs are critical contributors to ELRIG, bringing new science, fresh ideas and energy to every event.
The prize is a glass trophy and £250, which can be accepted, donated to your lab or donated to a charity of your choice.
All posters will need to be collected at the end of the event and removed from site; any posters left at the end of the event will be disposed of.
Flash Poster presentations:
This is an opportunity to showcase your poster in a Flash presentation to the ELRIG community, if your poster is chosen you will need to prepare a 1 slide PowerPoint presentation to last no more than 3 minutes. The scientific judging panel will review the posters submitted for Flash poster presentations and if successful you will receive confirmation from the ELRIG Team two weeks prior to the event.

Step by Step to access the Event App
- Install The Event App by EventsAir.
- Enter this event’s code: DD2024
- If you already have the app and you are logged into a previous event then please log out.
- Click on log-in
- When your app opens, enter your email address and 6-digit App PIN which will have been emailed to you. If it has not, then please contact events@elrig,org.
- Update so that you are happy with the way you appear on the app.

Before you attend Drug Discovery 2024
No later than 10 days before
- Send a high-resolution copy of your logo.
- Confirm the company name you wish to exhibit under.
- Register your exhibitor staff via the Exhibitor Portal.
- Ask your staff to download the ELRIG app.
No later than 7 days before
- Ensure that payment for the event is made at least 7 days before you arrive to set-up.
- Send your insurance Certificate to events@elrig.org. You must have Public and Employee Liability Insurance of at Least £1m.
