Are you a post-doc, postgraduate, early career researcher/ professional (ECP) scientist looking to develop and maintain your network?
Networking is the development, maintenance and leadership of networks of individuals who can offer advice and access to opportunities. In a research and academic context, networking happens for many purposes and in many ways. At different stages in your career, different aspects of networking will be more or less relevant to you, you will have different objectives, and will need to build different types of relationships. However, building and maintaining a wide professional network is intrinsically valuable; it may prove helpful in your current role, and may also lead to your next collaboration, role or change of career direction.
