“The life science industry is increasingly making use of robotics to automate specific processes, which when used in combination with artificial intelligence and machine learning is having an immense and profound impact on the speed and success of the drug discovery process.

This meeting jointly organised by SLAS and ELRIG, will focus on the application and interaction of robotics and automation in the traditional biological and chemical spaces, as well as the physical challenges of how to automate beyond the microtiter plate to shift the testing paradigm. We will also highlight how recent innovations and the application of artificial intelligence are also changing how robots interact with humans and their environment.

This two-day conference will provide an exclusive opportunity to network and be involved in inspiring and interesting discussions with opinion leaders in instrumentation, informatics, lab automation, strategy developers and industrial automation experts together with a strong and aligned vendor community.  The meeting is free-to-attend, and spaces are limited, so early registration is essential.”

• Applications & Innovations in Chemistry Automation can be applied to many types of chemistry at any scale, with the last decade witnessing an explosion in its application. This session will focus on recent applications and innovations to fully automate multiple protocols and workflows, meeting the challenges of rapid scale-up & optimisation in the synthesis of novel chemical entities.
• Applications & Innovations in the Physical Sciences Connected, autonomous laboratory equipment, coupled with machine learning will allow the expansion of our understanding of substances and their properties. It will enable the discovery of hidden material properties, leading to the adaptation of the laws of physics and new insights for their application. This session will explore the exciting innovations in this area.
• Applications & Innovations in Biology Automation is often utilised in the drug discovery process, leveraging robotics and automated processes to ease repetitive tasks and facilitate the execution of cellular or biochemical experiments. This session will describe the challenges and advances in automating a range of biological processes, including reagent production, preparation, screening and analysis.
• Applications & Innovations in Human Robotics & Artificial Intelligence The field of human-robot interaction has seen dramatic developments over the last decade, this session will focus on innovations in the field to deliver safe, intuitive and reliable robotics in the real world.

A Poster at Robotics Automation 2022 will be both a physical and digital poster. The physical poster should be A0 Portrait and there will be a board reserved for you in the Exhibition Room.  The digital poster requires a PDF (Max 5mg) to be added to your poster at registration.
