We’re Thrilled to Partner with VisitBritain to Take ELRIG’s Mission Global

As a not-for-profit organisation, ELRIG exists to connect the drug discovery and life science communities through open-access events, resources, and networking opportunities.

We’re proud that VisitBritain recognises the value of ELRIG’s work and the importance of international collaboration in driving scientific progress and economic growth. This grant award is a testament to the strength of the UK’s life science sector — and to the value of creating open, inclusive spaces where innovation can thrive.

With this support, we’ll expand our global reach and welcome even more international participants into the ELRIG community — helping them engage with the UK’s thriving drug discovery ecosystem, share ideas, and build lasting collaborations.

Our flagship conference, Drug Discovery 2025, is a free, open-access event that brings together thousands of scientists, researchers, innovators, and technology providers for two days of talks, workshops, and exhibitions. This grant will allow us to broaden our international outreach and invite global drug discovery communities to take part — offering them the chance to experience the UK sector first-hand and contribute their perspectives to the conversation.

By connecting with international communities, we’re not only showcasing the strength of the UK’s drug discovery sector, but building a platform to champion innovation that’s driven by our global community.“

This year also marks a major step in our international strategy: our first-ever USA-based forum, taking place this June. The Neuroimmunology in Drug Discovery Forum will bring together experts from across the US and UK to exchange insights, spark new collaborations, and explore emerging science at the intersection of neuroscience and immunology.

By hosting events like this overseas, ELRIG is creating new pathways to bring fresh thinking back to our UK community. Ensuring we stay connected to the latest global advances and best practices.
