ELRIG’s Breakthrough Zone at Drug Discovery 2024.
Europe’s biggest conference for the drug discovery community is back and we’re delighted to introduce our the Breakthrough Zone.
We recognise the vital role that young companies play in driving innovation so to support and amplify their contributions we’re delighted to introduce this new space.
Scheduled for 2-3 October, ELRIG’s flagship Drug Discovery Conference will bring together diverse sectors of the life science industry.
This year’s scientific tracks covering not only therapeutic themes such as mechanisms of ageing and cell & gene therapy, but also more practical aspects of drug discovery encompassing advances in assay design, applications in high content imaging, target identification and disease modelling.
What does an Exhibitor in the Breakthrough Zone get ?
In this zone, each company will be provided with an A0 board space, a tabletop for literature, a dedicated space for demonstration samples or equipment, an area for conversations and the opportunity for a 5 minute flash presentation in Breakthrough Zone Theatre.
Also, the opportunity to win ELRIGs coveted Innovation Award – 10 minute presentation on the main stage & your fee refunded! Exhibitors will also get a blinded GDPR-compliant delegate list and access to the Exhibitor features in the Event App including lead capture!
Finances can be tight for young companies, so we are offering this at just £500 (ex VAT).
Are there any conditions to apply?
To be eligible to participate in the Breakthrough Zone and enter the Innovation competition, your company should have less than 25 full-time employees and/or have a turnover of less than £2.5M

- Opportunity to give a 10-minute pitch following keynote presentation at Drug Discovery 2024, reaching over 1000 delegates

Details to note
The deadline to apply for the ELRIG Innovation Award is 13th September, registration for the Breakthrough Zone must be completed prior to this date.
The ELRIG Innovation Award winner will be notified by 23d September, in order to give time to prepare the 10-minute pitch to be shared at the conference. (2-3 October 2024 at ExCeL London)
